Hi, I’m Kathy, the founder of Wishing You Well.

Twelve years ago, after welcoming my first child and stepping away from my work as a Naturopath and Nutritionist in Sydney, I felt drawn to create something that truly supported people during life’s hardest moments.

Having lost my mum to cancer, and later my brother, I know how deeply a simple, heartfelt gesture can touch someone who’s struggling. A small gift can bring light into a dark moment, a little hope, a little comfort, a reminder that they’re not alone.

That belief is what inspired me to start Wishing You Well. I wanted to offer thoughtful alternatives to flowers, gifts that nurture, soothe, and genuinely care for the person receiving them, whether they’re facing illness, grief, recovery, or any of life’s challenges.

Over the past 12 years, this little idea has grown into a warm community built on kindness, health, and connection. Through our blog, newsletter, and social channels, we share gentle inspiration and wellness tips to support others. And I’m incredibly proud that we partner with local charities helping people living with long-term or terminal illness.

I truly believe in the power of thoughtful giving, that when something is chosen with love and intention, it can make a real difference. My hope is that every Wishing You Well package brings comfort, care, and joy to you and the people you love.

Meet Kathy

The owner behind Wishing You Well. She loves the beach, explores hidden trails on bush walks, and dreams of far-off lands during her travels. But her ultimate joy? Spending time with her husband and two adventurous boys!

What makes you smile? When my boys laugh,
giggle, dance, give cuddles and are generally happy.

Meet Jess, our vibrant fulfillment coordinator! Always with a smile on her face she packs every care package with love. When she’s not ensuring orders are shipped with care, Jess loves dancing and spending time with her family including her 2 kids. Christmas photos? Oh, she’s got a collection that could rival Santa’s naughty-or-nice list!

Describe yourself in one word: Spirited.

What makes you smile? I love a general 'Hey, how are you?' Be through a loved one or stranger. A small interaction a day could really be the small positive someone was really needing.
